Original Soundtracks for SFSU

Forest Defenders - OST

An original soundtrack for a medieval-inspired fantasy game developed by SFSU computer science students.

Composer Thoughts:

I loved working with this team!  As with all my work, this falls in the "always abandoned, never finished" category.   This project hooked me into a realm of music-making that I had not yet explored, but found myself all-too-enthralled with.  I suspect this is far from the last of electro-medieval/electro-Renaissance tracks out of my studio!

Descend - OST

An original soundtrack for a Greek-inspired fighting game developed by SFSU computer science students.

Composer Thoughts:

This project was near and dear to my heart, as it combined my love of video games with my heritage! 🇬🇷  With the help of my sister, I learned more about the music of my ancestral lineage from this project than I had in all the time I spent at Greek festivals and events.

In addition, it was a fabulous exercise in using the wealth of plugins built into Logic Pro X.  Serum is the only VST present in this entire mix, so all acoustic-sounding synths/samples were Logic's built-in supply!
